Description Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh M3 JCT
The Hotel is located to the north of Southampton in the heart of Hampshire within easy access of the M3 and M27 Motorways with ample free car parking and close to Southampton International Airport. The hotel is ideally situated for day trips to the New Forest, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Marwell Zoo and Paulton's Family Leisure Park. This modern, extensively refurbished hotel consists of 129 en-suite fully air-conditioned bedrooms, Spirit Health Club, Academy Conference Centre, Restaurant, Bar and Lounge Area
Arundel Castle, currently the seat of the Duke of Norfolk, dates from approximately 1070 and is one of the most complete remaining British castles. Exhibits within the castle include various works of art, armour and period furnishings and a visit includes the opportunity to view the Gothic architecture of the 14thC Fitzalan Chapel as well as explore the established gardens. Special historical events are regularly showcased and included in the normal admission tariff. Arundel Castle has also featured in various films such as Henry VIII as well as The Prince and the Pauper.
Some of the facilities are not easily accessible to disabled patrons, details being provided at the website. There is ample parking and the premises include both a restaurant and gift shop. Credit cards other than Diners Club or American Express are accepted. Please note that photography within the castle is prohibited and that no dogs other than assistance animals are allowed. Thorpe Park is located in Chertsey, Surrey and offers a selection of 9 different zones viz. Calypso Quay, Lost City, Neptune's Kingdom, Thorpe Farm, Canada Creek, Ranger County, Amity Cove, Port Atlantis and Octopus Garden. There are many rides to choose from, ranging from children's rides to fast white-knuckle rollercoasters. Also on site are amusement arcades and various food outlets as well as a swimming area with a children's pool and water slides.

Monkey World is a 65 acres site that houses over 150 different Primates. It is described as an Ape rescue centre and the animals that are here have been rescued from all over the World. The ultimate aim of this sanctuary, wherever possible, is to return these animals back to the wild. Since the centre was founded in 1987 dozens of animals have been returned back to their natural habitat.
The sanctuary is open daily from 10am until 5pm between September and June and from 10am until 6pm during July and August.
