    On arriving at the border to Suffolk, we used to advise visitors to reset their watches by 30 years. If you look carefully you may still find dinosaurs grazing in the fields and I think it's fair to say that the county of Suffolk with its twee little villages and absurd pink houses is not the first place you'd think to look for cutting edge modern cuisine.     Like finding unexpected treasure (30.10.2006 15:17)
    I grew up just outside one of the UK's most famous cathedral cities and so like most others in that location, I was successfully indoctrinated in the belief that there is no better architectural splendour on God's good earth than Salisbury Cathedral and my city was a pretty cool place to visit.
