In 2007 Derby opened the brand new shopping centre that is Westfield Derby. It is an extension and refurbishment on what was the Eagle Centre. On our visit we chose a familiar entrance through what was the Eagle Centre Market and is now more simply known as the Eagle Market. First impressions were that nothing had changed. I'm not usually one to wax lyrical about restaurants. In fact I have a tendency to get put off reasonable ones by little things building up over time. I seem to have a particular problem with the restaurants running out of whatever I fancy on the menu.
