[LovesTravel, 06/08/2010] I have to say right up front that Himself and Yours Truly did not lodge at Ballymascanlon House or eat in its restaurant. We were there for one reason and one reason alone--to see the Proleek Dolman, which is part of the property. We did wander the grounds and the public rooms, and they were perfectly lovely. It's a place we would love to try if given the opportunity. But for us, and for the purposes of this review, the Proleek Dolman was and is the subject at hand.

[Twamlec2, 04/08/2010] Went to the ivy house with my boyfriend ,and we stayed for one night but wish we stayed longer , The room was really pleasant and the bath room had its own privet Jacuzzi , The breakfast was very tasty I had two poached eggs and hash browns and my boyfriend had a full Irish .The local area is really nice and there are a good few places to go . We admired the staff and the owner was lovely , very friendly , They made us feel as comfortable as possible and welcome for the whole stay. We will be returning again soon . Thanks Guys
