[paulbrewer, 31/12/2011] My partner and I stayed in the Gresham in Dec 11.
We booked a Double room at very short notice for what I thought was a reasonable Euro 99.
This was about 20 Euro more expensive for a regular 3 Star on a Friday night .
The Gresham is 4 Star.
The room was great .
Everything about it was quality , with a relaxing green tones to the room and some tasteful reproduction Irish paintings on the wall.
The bathroom was good with a bath and seperate shower - if I was being critical another 10cm on the bath's length and width would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.
Even though we were at

[JohnL266, 15/07/2011] Dirty kitchen, left-over food in cupboards, extraction hood stank of grease, floor was sticky, broken microwave (VERY dangerous for baby food).
Bathroom damp and musty, dirty towels (someone’s toothpaste), towels worn & torn. Only one bedroom had curtains (not much privacy and no way to keep the daylight out), one window couldn’t be closed.
Broken wardrobe doors, broken DVD, power outlets hanging from walls (VERY dangerous for crawling baby), wires hanging loose from switches, excessively noisy pump (every turn of the tap or flush of the toilet), excessively noisy squeaky doors, lights and l

[dublinflyer, 16/06/2011] Letters, Lives and Liberty is the exhibition currently running in the An Post Museum. The exhibition is informative, interesting and interactive. There is plenty to see as exhibition is divided into three sections; Art of the Stamp, The Post in Ireland and Easter Monday 1916.
Each section shows a different side of the Post Office and its long history in Ireland. In the Art of the Stamp, visitors can pull out, look at stamps from different parts of the world, and compare them with Ireland’s stamps. A wonderful machine shows you how stamps are made. What's more, it allows you to create and desi

[christian_jp, 03/03/2011] It was one of those rare days the sun was dominating Dublin. So a few friends of mine and I decided to head our for a Picnic in Phoenix Park. The place is huge and one can walk for hours on end. Right at the entrance there is a little botanic garden and beyond this you will find the Zoo.
We decided to skip the Zoo and walk onwards out into the green and came to the Magazine Fort on St Thomas' Hill. A marvelous piece (though it reminds one of a prison) to walk around and watch. We ended up staying on one of the hills, while watching the people passing by on their bikes or foot.

[clarkee73, 06/02/2011] Located in a square, near the shops and of course Temple Bar.
Fantastic staff, lovely rooms and an excellent bar.
A true quality hotel and I can't believe what a bargain we had.
I would definitely go back if I could afford it!
[grapevine, 14/09/2010] Hi everyone, have recently returned from a weekend break at The Gibson Hotel Dublin, it is a wonderful new hotel with very modern rooms. Bar area also very nice for a drink. Hotel is situated approx 7 mins on the Luas (tram) into Dublin city centre, this is a regular service making the hotel ideally located. Wonderful breakfast served each morning, plus food served in the restuarant throughout the day, this also looked very nice although I did not sample it.
[Johnney2010, 13/07/2010] Great traditional Dublin Hotel with a nice night club for our party. very friendly service and nice food. Could not ask for more.
[fizzytom, 20/06/2010] While some women can’t resist a pair of gorgeous heels, I am unable to ignore an email from a budget airline. I just have to have a little look to see whether there are any bargains to be had. The latest one to jump off my screen was a return flight from my local airport to Dublin for just £12.00. As usual, I reached for the debit card and turned my mind to the accommodation question later. I’ve visited Dublin before, about ten years ago now, so I knew that there is plenty of accommodation in the city. What I didn’t know, however, was the in the intervening decade, Dublin has become horribly e

[BojanJajce, 15/06/2010] Fair ratio of quality and price, especially weekday rates are more than acceptable.
Main advantage of hotel is its location because it is within walking distance of almost all attractions. 5 minute walk to O'conell square.
[LynnTheRed, 21/05/2010] Ideal for the perfect mix of fun and fact - Viking splash tours is great for all the family
[WendyKroy, 27/04/2010] This is a great city centre hotel walking distance from the 02.
[Irishdude, 23/01/2010] We found the Dublin Citi Hotels to be outstanding value for money. The food, service and standards all over the hotel were simply the best we could expect. Really good management for a city centre Hotel in Dublin.
[juan_belfast, 12/12/2009] Very comfortable hotel, friendly staff and within walking distance of city centre. Superb value for money.
[hollypipp, 30/10/2009] By accident we found this hotel in Dublin called Baggot Court Townhouse. We required car parking and a very helpful Irish barman recommended it. We had was seems like a brand new room and bathroom attached and the price, was really great value at £55 and this included our breakfast. We ended up staying for 3 nights and extended our trip to Ireland. The staff are friendly, its warm and cosy and the location is really great. There is a great pub down the street called Doney & Nesbits which is real Irish and has great guinness. We just left our car and walked everywhere. Happy to recommend t

[CMarie0902, 08/09/2009] Setting aside the fact that we were there to see U2 and therefore all was right with the world, there are a lot of good things to say about Croke Park. I use a motorized wheelchair and they the staff was very friendly and organized in getting us to the wheelchair seating - which was right by the stage!! A huge plus!! They did tell us that food and drink vendors would be by though we only saw one and she walked right by us and never came back so we ended up putting some guy's kids through college by buying hotdogs at his street corner stand after the show. The staff did a great job of ensuring

[CMarie0902, 08/09/2009] My sister and I stayed here when in Dublin to see the U2 concert in July. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The rooms are basic but the the bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well-stocked. The ceiling fan had a loud motor but it canceled out any noise from the street and we actually slept quite well with the windows open (we were high up of course). The full breakfast in the morning was always delicious and this hotel is tucked out of the way a bit and yet quite in the middle of everywhere you want to be. I would stay here again.

This was our first stay at Amberley and it blew us away. I was planning a surprise weekend for a special occassion, and I was looking for Irish Guesthouse accomodation. Oh man, this place is awesome. Unlike a hotel, here you have all the comfort, space, and privacy of home. Sylvia and the staff were so warm to us; they obviously take pride in their hotel.
[Iohan60, 19/08/2008] Staying there in the dark days before christmas, the city of Dublin has a great atmosphere. The Burlington hotel has a great restaurant and bar. When my colleague and I could not decide on the desert, they just gave us a bit of everything. (And that was a lot...) It's one of the examples of the hospitality I experienced. The hotel is located in the city centre, so discovering Dublin could easily been done by foot.
