All You Want to Know About Guinness

Travel guide extract
[aurelia_aurita, 22.04.2007] According to Somerville "half of all the beer drunk in Ireland is brewed in the sprawling Guinness Brewery". Although it is not opened to the public, the "company´s spanking new Guinness Storehouse attraction nearby will tell the you "all you want to know and then (...) serve you the best pint and the best view in Dublin". In Somerville´s opinion the Guinness company has "always excelled at marketing itself" by engaging "some of the best commercial artists" that produced "masterpieces" which are displayed in the storehouse. Inside a former fermentation and store plant, "a handsome 1904 building in cast iron and brick", the company has built a "six-story exhibition based around a giant atrium - shaped like a pint glass" where the visitor will "find out exactly what goes into make the black nectar - ingredients, techniques, plant, and manpower". Also displayed are "old photographs of the brewery during the 19th century" which Somerville finds "fascinating".
