Any tourist in Dubai will find this mosque to be the largest and indeed beautiful of all mosques in Dubai. It is built of stone in an ancient Fatimid tradition. The mosque is really magnificent and is best seen at sunset when the entire mosque is lit up and is almost glowing. It is located in Jumeirah on Al Jumeirah Road and over time along with being a place of worship it is also now a major landmark and one that tourists add a must see factor to. Tourists are by far welcome to view the mosque from the outside but non muslims are not permitted to enter, although organised tours are held every Thursday and Sunday when you have to pre book to be included in the tour, the admission if free. Jumeirah Mosque is one of the most photographed in Dubai due to its modern Islamic architecture. A place that must be seen.
