Dubais Wonderland resembles a funfair but much more activity, as you arrive towards it the theme park looks like a giant funfair with balloons, candy, games, rides, children laughing etc. It is located just opposite the Dubai creek and next to Creek Park so you cannot miss it! it has the usual games such as the shooting hoops game to win prizes, throwing bean sacks in order to win a cuddly toy, shooting tin cans, how-strong-are-you meter, they even have activities where you wear a harness and climb up a wall. There are strategy, skill and fun games here. The park is divided into 3 parts, the Main Street, Theme park and Splashland. The park is 18 hectares of activities and rides.
Dubai Wonderland also has the fun water sports side where children can play any water sport that they like, provided you have brought your swimsuit with you, for instance volleyball or basketball. There are also shoot the rapids ride where you slide down a 40 foot drop and are thrown into the water, not something for the faint hearted! For adrenalin junkies they also have the Space Shot where people can experience for themselves how an astronaut would feel when a space shuttle is launched. There are a number of restaurants and refreshment stands located around the theme park as well as places to relax and toilets. We managed to spend the whole day there and have fun as a family, there are rides for every age groups so no one would feel bored. I would definately reccommend this place to anyone that has children they will have a great time!
