[7622jon, 14/08/2011] The Winnock is situated in the village of Drymen (pro Drimen) about ten minutes from Loch Lomond and Balloch. The welcome was genuine, and my bedroom even had a TV in the wall of the bathroom. I was also blessed with a balcony so could smoke if I wished. Dinner was taken al fresco in a covered area, and the quality of food was better then expected, and being off the beaton track was not over priced.
The hotel also catered for groups, but was large enough to mix or avoid as you wished. Decor was good throughout, and the bar was popular with locals too - always a good sign!
