[peterpan1, 01/10/2010] The accomodation at the antbear was unique, quirky and made for a really memorable few days. The cottages were cosy and the open fireplaces kept the winter chill at bay. The food was brilliant and nicely presented but best of all was Connys and Andrews hospitality. Breakfast was a meal for planning where Andrew made every effort to tailor a day for each guest with first class recommendations for hikes, lunches and whatever else you may fancy during your stay. Would throughly recommend a visit here. Only downside was some of the potholes on the mooi river road
[pierrejacques, 21/06/2006] The Royal Natal Park boasts some of the most spectacular South African mountain scenery which includes the Amphitheatre and views of Mont-aux-Sources, where the Orange River has its source. Facilities and ablutions are very well maintained and the variety of walks and hiking trails lead to tranquil areas of immense beauty, unexpected streams and pools where one can bathe in absolute solitude. There is also a trail which leads to the foot of the famous Tugela Falls where the "Tugela plummets 948m in five clear leaps, making it the world's second highest waterfall."
