[Fritzthecat, 20/03/2008] Kaplica Beach Hotel is located about half an hours drive to the east of Kyrenia, at the entrance to the small village Kaplica (formerly Dhavlos). To miss the hotel, if you are coming from Kyrenia, is nearly impossible. It is not only the first building of the village that you will reach but also located in a beautiful bay and the wall towards the street features some very striking paintings of all sorts of sea creatures. [Fritzthecat, 07/03/2008] In Northern Cyprus you are spoiled for choice if you are looking for a beautiful beach, but this one definitely was one of our favourite while we were living there.
Kaplica Beach is located to the West of Kyrenia and just below Kantara Castle. To reach it I would absolutely recommend that you use your own transport. I know that there is a bus service running to the village but I have no idea how often a day they pass from here. Knowing Northern Cyprus, I'd say probably not too often. The journey from Kyrenia takes you along the Northern Coast of the Island and the views you'll enjoy are breat
