The Eagle Market is ideal for our unreliable weather, you can even park undercover so you can be confident of being able to do a full days shopping without getting drenched.
You can buy almost anything from the stalls, with butchers providing fresh meat, fruit/veg stalls, jewellers, computer shops, clothes and cafes to keep you refreshed.
The stalls are all on the same level, so ideal for disabled people, a lift is also available from the town centre entrance and the entrance from Westfield shopping centre is on the same level.
Stall holders are friendly and provide helpful advice if your unsure of what you want, prices are also very reasonable. The stalls selling fresh produce such as the meat and fruit/veg looked fresh a lot better than our local Asda store, but the 4 hour round trip to here may be a bit of a problem.
Overall for a person who hates shopping the Eagle market is ideal as you can walk around fairly quickly browsing without having to enter individual shops, cutting down on time shopping so more time can be spent on more important leisure pursuits..
