An expensive treat but a great way to spend the first night or two in Delhi and acclimatise. Done to the highest spec it still manages to capture a traditional Raj atmosphere.

A wonderful hotel room. I didn't have a wonderful view (internal room facing into an internal atrium) but then I didn't pay for one either.
I had two flat screen TV's, one in the bedroom and one in the living room suite!
The room was done to the highest standard and I would almost have rather it was a little scruffier and authentic feeling. Anyhow it was a wonderfully luxiurious and soft landing in India, which is just what I wanted.

I only ate breakfast at The Imperial but the setting was ideal and the service staff are all dressed a la Raj.

A bit of a taxi journey to get to the places I wanted to go but then it is too hot to walk into town and it is very nice to be away from the hustle and bustle.
