A typical 7 day tour on the Palace on Wheels includes stops in makes a 7-day tour starting in Delhi, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur & Chittaurgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra.
Each of the compartments has attached toilet, shower, twin beds and full carpeting. A mini-pantry in each carriage supplies hot and cold drinks. The train has two restaurants - the Maharajah and the Maharani - which serve Indian, Chinese and European style food. The bar offers a wide range of local and imported beverages.
Guests receive an 'arrival kit' with stationery items, postcards etc. and have an attendant at their beck and call.
