The hotel is nicely located within a walkable distance of Jandhewalan station - just 2 stations away from Rajiv Chowk, the famous Connaught Place.
The street itself isn´t actually glamorous and can pass a bitter first impression, specially if you arrive at night, but don´t get intimidated as the place is safe.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing an excelent value for the price you pay.
They still don´t have wi-fi connection in the rooms, though, which would be a further step towards improvement.
A internet connection is provided for free in a single computer, honest speed, below the lobby of the hotel.
Now, here comes the real thing of Aster Inn: it´s service.
The owner, Raja, and Rahul - the frontman - truly know the meaning of well managed business, and in the heart of India, where it can sometimes be most difficult to obtain.
We actually stayed in Aster Inn 4 times, always going to someplace and back - Agra, Varanasi and Kathmandu.
In all of those we had the pick-up service, which was really handy.
When we got back from Agra, we arrived 1 hour late, by midnight, in an unbeliavable crowded central station - there was the driver, in the exact spot we had previously arranged, waiting for us with a smile.
The same happened when we came back by flight from Varanasi, when the catastrophic Air India had delayed almost 2 hours - there was the driver waiting for us, pretty reliable.
We was charged the exact price we had seen in the expedia site, in a clean and professional way, no this-and-thats, no unexpected charges, as it sometimes can be painfully often in some places in India.
This is why we recommend a stay in Aster Inn; here you will find comfortable and clean rooms, a good location for exploring Delhi and, most valuable assets - reliability and welcomeness. Enjoy !
