Chaweng Beachcomber Samui - Chaweng Beach, Thailand - October, 2007
Thai Luxury (14.11.2007 07:41)
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Ko Samui. It is in a great location, near to the airport and right in the middle of the main town of Ko Samui where there are many restaurants and shops to look at. The facilities are clean and modern and certainly meet the expectations you would have of a 3 star hotel. The staff were absolutely faultless and really added that [more...] -
Hin Ta Hin Yai - Lamai Beach, Thailand
Hin Ta - Hin Yai (15.10.2007 18:04)
Hin Ta - Hin Yai This odd formation of rocks have been called the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks. The rocks formations sit on a ‘ledge of rocks and overlook to see giving plenty of chances for some lovely photos. This site is quite popular due to the actual Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks which are named this due to the fact that they look just like make and female genitals, and [more...] -
Thorpe Park - Chertsey, United Kingdom
Park Life (14.10.2007 12:57)
Getting There In 2006 I visited Thorpe Park a grand total of 3 times. I live in Dover, Kent and it took us 90minutes to get there. Thorpe Park is well sign posted from the M25 onwards so finding the park is relatively easy. Thorpe Park is situated between junctions 11 and 13 of the M25 but access from Junction 12 is not possible from the M25. Ticket Prices We paid £28.50 each for an adult [more...] -
Kearsney Abbey Gardens - Dover, United Kingdom
Kearsney Abbey Gardens (09.09.2007 15:09)
I live in Dover, Kent and Kearsney Abbey is a 10 minute drive up the road from me, so I often walk my dogs in these lovely gardens. History Kearsney Abbey has an interesting history which can be traced back for years but the first record of it being owned by a local person is between the years of 1445-1449 when it was owned by Ralph Tokes, Mayor of Dover. Since then, it has been rebuilt by [more...] -
Salzburg Saltmines - Bad Dürrnberg, Austria
Salzburg Salt Mines (28.08.2007 01:48)
When my boyfriend and I visited Salzburg in Austria, we decided to take a trip to see the Salt Mines. Getting there was very simple when using the Salzburg card and this also mean that the transport was free too (as the Salzburg Card cover this!). Arriving At The Salt Mines Once you arrive at the Salt Mines, which are well signposted, you need to book in at the reception. You pay here and [more...] -
Hilton Sharks Bay Resort Sharm El Sheikh - Shark Bay, Egypt - May, 2007
The Other Side To Egypt (15.07.2007 14:26)
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Sharm El Sheikh. It is in a great location, near to the airport and near to Naama Bay offering a bit of variety rather than spending all your time in the hotel. The all inclusive basis is definitely worth the money as you have a great selection of food and drink. The facilities are clean and modern and certainly meet the [more...] -
Plainbrücke - Salzburg, Austria - January, 2007
Hotel Not So Plain - brucke! (08.07.2007 08:50)
If I were ever to visit Salzburg again I would 100% book the same hotel. We were very impressed with everything the hotel had to offer, from the excellent choice at breakfast, the lovely rooms and the efficient staff. Anyone looking for a hotel in Salzburg should definitely consider Hotel Plainbrucke. [more...] -
Radisson SAS Resort Taba - Taba, Egypt - October, 2005
The Radisson SAS Hotel in Taba (08.07.2007 04:10)
I really would recomend the hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday, however, if you were looking to see the sights of Egypt then you would probabaly be better going to Sharm el Sheikh as in Taba you are quite a long journey from the main sights of Egypt. The hotel certainly works hard to ensure that you are given the five star service that the hotel offers. [more...] -
Turtle Island - Sandakan, Malaysia
The Best Island In The World (30.06.2007 23:06)
I went to Borneo is October 2006 and while I was there I visited Turtle Island and stayed there for one night. About Turtle Island Turtle Island is a conservation project for the beautiful Green Turtles. Basically this is a very remote island on which the Green Turtle lay their eggs all year round. People are only allowed to visit this island on organised trips and only a certain amount of [more...] -
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Flying Free in Kuala Lumpur (30.06.2007 21:52)
I visited Borneo and Kuala Lumpur last year and being a massive fan of animals, myself and my boyfriend visited all the animal related attractions. One of these was the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Where Is It? Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is situated in the Lake Gardens area of Kuala Lumpur which is close to the Orchid Gardens and the Tun Abdul Razek Memorial. The bird park is a little bit out of the [more...]
