One of the attractions here in Davao City is the Davao Crocodile Park. Tourists and as well as visitors from nearby places must not miss this Park.
The Davao Crocodile Park is located along the Buhangin - Ma-a Diversion Road. It is just a few minutes from the major local hotels here.
Last January 1, 2009, my family decided to spent our New Year in that Park. Though we are residence of Davao, yet it was our first time to go there. Entrance fee is, more or less, equivalent to 2 pounds per person.
We were so amazed of the different animals inside the Park. There are different kinds of birds, reptiles, lizards and some mammals. It was our first time to saw a live tiger up close and personal. We were thrilled by just looking at the tiger named "Datu".
And the star of that Park are of course the crocodiles. They were set inside the cages just right at the center of the Park. We saw the biggest of them all and it was named "Pangil".
We really have real fun while we were there. In general, I rate The Davao Crocodile Park as one of the best tourist spots here in Davao City. You will simply be in loved with the place.
