I have been in the Grand Regal Hotel in many occasions. I been there to attend weddings, seminars, and be with my immediate boss billeted in that hotel.
My review is about the marketing staff of that hotel. Specially their reservation system which I personally experience.
My boss was planning to visit me, as his regular job, to check my work and sales activities here in Davao. He was base in our Head Office located in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila.
He requested me to make a reservation on his own behalf at the Grand Regal Hotel. That was a day before he will arrived. So, because he was my boss, I immediately called the Grand Regal Hotel to make a reservation.
A female voice answered my call and she was speaking in english. I told her my intention in our own dialect but she kept answering my inquiries in english. But, the girl was so courteous and polite which made the reservation done, more or less, with in five minutes only. That was fast.
So, the day when my boss arrived, I was instructed to just wait for him at the hotel. I was at the hotel then, a few hours earlier before he arrived. I waited at the lobby particularly at the waiting section of that hotel.
While waiting, I notice how the staffs were so hospitable greeting every persons they met with a smile. They are so friendly. Also, I was able to meet the girl that I made my reservation to confirm with her about the room. She was pretty and accommodating. She even thank me for choosing the Grand Regal Hotel. And I feel good about it.
So, I rate the Hotel Marketing Staff, as a whole, excellent for making their job well done.
Though, I was not able to go inside the room of that Hotel but I could say that having those kind of staff I am sure that the rooms are always clean and fresh. I bet it.
