This is my review about one of the oldest hotels here in Davao City. Though, it is an old hotel but the Apo View Hotel today was not the same as it was before. After, a fire broke out in that hotel some years ago, a lot of renovations and improvements were done to make the Apo View Hotel what is it now.
Located at the hearth of the city particularly along J. Camus Street, Davao City, Apo View Hotel offers 11 rooms for conventions, banquets, and etc. The grand ballroom can accommodate up to 1,200 people.
The hotel has two restaurants, namely the Entrée which serves international cuisine and the Zugba which serves delicious seafood dishes. It has also a coffee shop called Café Josefina. And, lastly The Blue Room Jazz Bar.
I was able to go inside at one of the rooms of the Apo View hotel,. when I accompanied my co-workers from Manila City. I observed that the size of the room is just right for a Deluxe room with two single beds. The room, which smells fresh and clean, has colored television and air conditioning unit. It has a telephone with mini table and two chairs.
At night, we dine at Zugba restaurant, we tasted the famous grilled tuna belly. Though I am used to eat tuna belly but I never tasted such kind of grilled tuna belly. It so delicious and so juicy.
