[BigKev, 16/12/2011] I have stayed at this hotel many times and for the cost it is very good when compared to a Travel Inn a couple of miles up the road, it is mid way between Teesside and Darlington at the Teesside airport. Slightly difficult to find on the first time visit as you have to enter what seems to be a no entry road. The hotel is functional, the only down side is it can be full of contractors during the week, bedrooms differ in cleanliness from very good to awfull,(they have moved me to another room without anyfuss if I havent been happy) some rooms have stains on the carpets, headboards etc but overal

[dave61, 27/11/2011] I just spent 3 nights at the George and I have to say I had a brilliant time, great food and really friendly staff. Huge recommendation.
[victoria1982, 13/11/2011] What has happened to this lovely little restuarant. We have been here a few times before and it has always been lovely. Went last night for my husbands birthday. Never again We waited well over 30 minutes between courses being served. Was told when we tried to order our meal at 8.20pm that they had ran out of steak (erm not what you would expect to hear). The waiter barely spoke any English and when was asked if the

A Saturday night stay was available online for the rather meagre sum of £29 and wanting to keep our expenses down, we thought it was worth the short bus ride to and from the city centre for such a short stay. Had we stayed longer I would not have wanted to be so far out (perhaps two miles from the town centre) but for one night we didn’t mind the location at all.
This Premier Inn is located at Morton

[fiona8776, 26/05/2010] We had a joint 16th Birthday party for my daughter and my niece and we have to say we could not fault the george on anything.
The hotel is stunning, the staff were very polite and friendly and the manager Paul is one of the nicest people i have ever met.
Paul and Sarah helped us organise everything and made sure everything went perfect.
We had a bbq buffett with a hog roast and the food was absolutely stunning. The Service from all the staff serving and clearing away was outstanding.
We booked a room to stay after the party and i have to say it was beautiful and the breakfast was d

[yampy, 12/02/2006] In December 2005 we travelled up north from Portsmouth to Darlington to see our family, this being a regular event for us as we love travel, and we stayed for a couple of nights in a hotel. It's called Sleep Inn Hotel & Conference Centre Darlington and can be found at the south end of the A167 at Newton Park approximately 35 metres from junction 59 on the A1(M) either north or south exits will get you there. At the entrance to Newton Park you will find a MacDonald's and a petrol station then it's straight on to the hotel and the automatic barrier that lets you into the car park. The hotel is o
