The airport is small, and the facilities are very poor for it being an international airport. There are so many tourists coming everyday that they should have upgraded the facilities by now. They have 3 belts for luggage in the arrival hall. In the morning there are 4-5 flights landing together and thus makes it a confusion. On leaving you can only spot places to private taxis. Once outside the terminal all the touts start asking you about taxis. On taking a left(towards the exit) you finally see the pre paid taxi stand(about 30 seconds walk).
In the departure terminal before security there is only one restaurant which has the lounge. There is no consistency in the taste. We ordered an item and we loved it, a repeat order got us something very average. Being a big group of 15 people , we were split up into different tables. 3 tables had ordered one same item(all different orders), all 3 dishes tasted different. During the day there is always a rush at this place. On passing the security whose lines are really long(takes me normally 30 minutes on a average and go to goa 3 times a year), there is a small snacks counter. The pizzas here are decent. Overall a very small airport for so many people flying to and from it.
