[more]?Hostería Cantarranas? (inn) is a house whose origin dates back to the 16th century. It may have accommodated the Emperor Charles V when he made his way towards the nearby monastery of Yuste. The restoration of this building has been made by its owner, Cipri, who is a builder and restorer of rustic houses. He has preserved the original material and layout.Its landlady, Charlotte, has taken care of the decoration. Her profession, textile designer, can be felt in the atmosphere of this house, where the purest typical style of this region is harmoniously combined with some slight northern scents; all of it together with a great deal of art (www.charlottehouman.com). This house is located in the former Cantarranas side street, in the historic city centre of Cuacos. At its back, you can see a landscape which enjoys every season and shows us a sierra full of refreshing gorges in summer and pink snow in the winter evenings. Springs are pleasant thanks to the frog´s singing (of course!) and the flights of storks which go to the nearby vegetable gardens wrapped in orange blossom scent. Autumns have the mushrooms taste and the colours of nature show their beauty.
