For the author of this article, the most remarkable point about this hotel is its "unusual antiques" from far-flung place collected by its owner in a bid to avoid the "traditional Alpine motifs". The effect is one of "exotic warmth". The bedrooms also benefited from the same treatment, with pieces from the "Far and Middle East" as well as "plush accessories".
