It is part of the construction project "Quartier am Schlosskirchplatz", where an entire district of the town has been restored, thus having become one of the most attractive locations in Cottbus.
The entrance of the Sorat Hotel Cottbus is located in a restored turn-of-the century building, its stucco front facing the Schlosskirche church. Most of the guest rooms are in a newly built appendix and feature modern design. 98 rooms are an easy-to-overlook size and enable personal contact with the guests. All rooms are equipped with a desk, direct-dial telephone, fax and PC plug, colour TV, radio, air condition, shower / bath, full-length mirror and hair drier, some with mini-bar and WLAN.
