The Miramonti Golf Course and driving range is next to the hotel, as are several tennis courts and the stables, which also have a riding school.
Cortina’s town centre is just 2 to 3 minutes from the hotel by car or by the hotel’s private shuttle service, but it is also within walking distance. A pleasant stroll following the pedestrian track along the old railway line takes about 15 to 20 minutes and is a particularly lovely walk. Once in the centre of town, a stroll along the Corso is unforgettable, passing local artisans, museums, libraries and art galleries. The town centre also features a number of excellent shops and several boutiques selling goods by famous designer names.As well as a number of generously sized double rooms, the hotel also boasts 36 suites, including junior suites and comfort suites. All of the hotel’s accommodation is bright and sunlit with plenty of natural light and beautiful views of Cortina d'Ampezzo and the valley.
All of the rooms and suites are spacious and rich in comfort and charm, with traditional wood interiors. The accommodation is elegantly furnished and well-equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need. Each room and suite has its own large private bathroom and many also have small private gardens. Almost all of the rooms and suites have a private balcony or terrace.
Junior suites are suitable for between 2 and 4 people. These suites have a main bedroom and a separate living room with a sofa bed.
Comfort suites are suitable for between 4 and 5 people and are very similar to junior suites, except that they are more spacious.The hotel’s own on-site restaurant offers traditional local specialities of the region and authentic Italian food.
Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s nightly Drinks At Seven. Every evening, in the hotel lobby, the hotel offers each guest a drink, including cocktails, mixed drinks, red and white wines, non-alcoholic beverages and juices. A shuttle bus service runs regularly from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Cortina D'ampezzo and the journey takes approximately 2 hours.
By Train:
The nearest railway station is Calalzo di Cadore, which is 35 km away. Bus transfers to Cortina are available from there.
By Car (from Venice):
On arriving in Cortina, pass the Trampolino Olimpico, and, after about 400m, there is a turn-off to the right. The hotel’s entrance is about 100 metres further away, up the hill.
By Car (from the north):
Coming from the north (Dobiaco, Misurina or other similar locations), pass through the centre of Cortina, heading south towards Venice. Immediately after the Hotel Miramonti on the left, you will see both of the turn-offs to the Hotel Mirage.
