[fizzytom, 20/06/2010] Run by husband and wife Paddy and Jane Howe, this lovely house has two guests bedrooms to let. As soon as you enter this comfortable and spacious townhouse you see all manner of lovely pieces of art: ceramics, paintings, wall hangings and more. We had walked from the bus station in the centre of Cork ans although it's not far, it was cold so we were glad to walk into this warm, cosy and inviting house.
If we'd have driven we'd have been able to park on a side street nearby but within view of the guest house. The foot path in front of the house is a private one and there is no road directly

[mporteous, 29/09/2009] Situated right next to the airport but not troubled by noise. Easy to get bus in to town or taxi for €12. Nice bar food, comfortable bar, not much of a lounge apart from that. Good restaurant but more expensive type. Good breakfast. Good size rooms and comfortable large bed, excellent showers. ( though I always get an upgrade as I am a regular working for a big client).
Reasonable value for money, compared to local (4 star) b and b's in town which charge nearly as much but have fewer facilities. Massive car park. Friendly efficient staff. Very good for conference (small) and meeting rooms.
[BantryBay01, 03/09/2009] Excellent service, great room, room service, excellent dining in the restaurant. Irish Soda Bread was delivered to my room prior to departure.

[Jean1, 08/08/2009] Stayed at this hotel for a 2 night midweek break at the end of July 2009. The hotel is ideally situated, being just a 5 minute walk away from Cork city centre. It is also on the main Skylink bus shuttle service from Cork airport, but a taxi only costs around 15 euros and is much quicker (15mins). The hotel staff are very friendly, and our room was large, clean and well-appointed. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant for evening meals, there are plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance. The breakfasts in this hotel are amazing!! I have never been offered such a choice

[frankiecesca, 18/06/2009] I really quite liked the hotel and I found I appreciated it more once I left to stay elsewhere on the trip! I especially liked how comfortable the beds were and this being obviously one of the main features of a hotel then I am happy to say this is what made my stay! The reading lamps were a good little extra for me to have in my room and generally the whole hotel was a nice place to ''come home'' to at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel but, make sure you are aware of the location before you book as it is not ideal if you want to walk straight out of the doors into th

[Helencbradshaw, 13/01/2008] I recently visited Cork and stayed at a hotel which was (a) not of my choosing, and (b) my room type had been specified in advance as a single room. Given the fact that the name was not one of a chain I recognised and I had no time to check the web for more details on the property I can confidently say that my expecations were not particularly high for the Kingsley Hotel upon arrival.
How wrong I was!
