[PeterDoherty, 06/11/2010] The staff were excellent with good manners and pleasant smiles willing to help with any
problems. The beds were firm and allowed good posture and excellent sleep. The double
aspect room in which we stayed gave stunning views of the new fortress, the sea and parts
of the harbour. The birds eye views of the bustling Old Town streets below allowed us to
watch the world go by in complete secrecy as the people and visitors of Corfu went about
their busy lives.
[househusband, 08/07/2010] Corfu town is a great place to wander round after spending a few days hard at work on a beach somewhere .There is much to see in the the little alleyways of the old town and well worth a visit.
[flower1, 21/03/2009] For those who are bored of everyday life and want to see something different I think that Corfu Island in Greece will help them!
Last summer when I was walking around the sea port of the main town Corfu, I decided to take part in the trip with the famous ship "Calipso Star", because the ship is with transparent side walls through which I could see all the riches of the under-water world. Thus the whole sea bottom appeared in front of my eyes; vegetable life, big passages of fishes and sea crabs... That was amazing!
