Descriptions Hotel Bella Venezia

The hotel, housed in a gloriously restored neo-classical mansion, is an oasis of calm in the heart of Corfu's vibrant capital. Originally the 19th-century residence of one of the island's ""first families"", in the 20th century the edifice served as a consulate, the National Bank of Greece, and a lyceum for Corfiot schoolgirls. In 1988, the apricot-hued stately home became a hotel known for its serenity and, in 2006, it was lovingly renovated to serve the needs of third-millennium guests from the world over. The hotel comprises 32 rooms, with two beautiful rooms designed with honeymooners in mind and a second floor grand master suite, ideal for families, round off the range of accommodation units on offer. Facilities include a air conditioning, a lobby, a bar and a TV room.

The Bella Venezia hotel is a beautiful, recently renovated neoclassical building located just behind Corfu Town's main square - the famous Spianada - in a quiet spot right at the heart of the historic centre. Guests have easy access, by foot, to all the important sites and attractions of Kerkyra: the Liston, the two great fortresses, the museums, and Corfu Town's fine restaurants, shops and cafes. The structure is a charming establishment, featuring excellent services as well as a warm and traditional hospitality. The lounge area and the snack bar, with marble floors, elegant furniture, wooden ceilings and high windows, create a refined and luxurious atmosphere.
