Archaeological Museum

The Archaeological Museum opened in 1965 and displays exhibits of Corfu's history. The two main exhibits are the Gorgon Pediment and the Menekrates Lion. The Gorgon Pediment is part of the Artemis Temple and the Menekrates Lion is a crouching lion statue found in a tomb not far from Corfu Town.The museum is open at the following times:

Mon Repos is a palace which dates from 1826 and which was the birthplace of Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh in 1921. It was a residence of King George I of Greece and also the home of Governor Parini during the Italian occupation. It is located near the archaeological site of Palaeopolis, which is believed to have been the original site of ancient Kerkyra.
After the monarchy ended the estate became managed by the Municipality of Corfu and now houses the Archaeological Museum of Palaiopolis

Kalypso Star

The Kalypso Star is a glass bottom boat that sets sail from the old port of Corfu. Museum of Asian Art

The Museum of Asian Art is located in the Royal Palace at the Palea Anactora - complex and is open daily except on Mondays. Adult entrance tariffs are €3 and summer hours (April to October) are from 08h00 to 19h30 whilst the rest of the year it is from 08h30 to 15h00.
