Kaiser's Throne is located above the village of Pelekas, you will need some form of transport to get here as it is not close to any of the tourist resorts. It does not cost anything to enter the site. The view was a favorite of Kaiser Wilhelm II and I can see why, on a clear day you can see a magnificent 360 degree view of the island and beyond. Theotokos Monastery - Paleokastritsa, Greece

Paleokastritsa is located on the west side of Corfu and the monastery is up a fairly steep snaking tarmac road, hard going if your very unfit. Once at the top there is a taverna if you need refreshments. Entrance into the monastery is free but their is a box available for any donations.
