The room was large and bright, with all the extras you'd expect - nice big TV screen, iron, room service... The bath had both a shower and a large bathtub, and travellers are spoiled with Crabtree & Evelyn's La Source shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion...
The breakfast buffet was large and tempting with sweet and salty treats, with several very service-minded and cheerful staff members refilling the buffet and serving hot drinks to the guests.
The Location at the airport is actually

[jipp05, 31/12/2010] After being left underwhelmed with Christiansborg slot palace we decided to explore some more of the castles and palaces in Copenhagen of which there a plenty.
Next on the list was Rosenborg slot castle which took us some time to find as Copenhagen is not big on having signs pointing to where things are. Luckily it is not located too far from the centre and when you get close the casle is quite large so it's pretty hard to miss it.
The building is a beautiful renaissance castle that dates from the 1600's. You need to get tickets to go inside and view the interior which you get from the offi

It is opened to the pubic and is free with the Copenhagen card. We decided to look around the Palace as it was stated as a must see in the guidebook.
Gaining entry was easy as there was no queues and we just had to flash our cards at the person manning the desk and he told us where to go and gave us some leaflets that briefly explained the sights of the palace in English as everyth

[jipp05, 31/12/2010] The Rundetaarn or round tower as it is more commonly known in English is Europes oldest functioning astronomy tower and has been in use since it was built in the 1600's.
The round tower was a building I was curious to visit solely because it had featured in a novel I had read and sounded interesting.
Again we had trouble locating it even though it is located in the centre just off the main shopping street so it should have been extremely easy to find but without a map we were just wandering aimlessly until we stumbles across it.
The tower is built onto the side of a church which can also b

[jipp05, 31/12/2010] I have recently returned from a short break to Copenhagen. The main reason for my visit was to just have a weekend away before christmas and to also visit the christmas markets at the Tivoli amusement park in the city.
When looking for a hotel price was an important factor as I have been to Scandinavia before and everything is expensive over there and as I wasn't planning on spending a lot of time in my room I just wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful.
I came across the Wake Up Copenhagen hotel whilst browsing through Booking.com and it seemed like it would be ideal. It was only rated as a t

[jipp05, 26/12/2010] The main reason why we decided to visit Copenhagen for the weekend was because we wanted to visit the Christmas market at Tivoli. I have been to the German Christmas markets for the past few years and whilst I enjoy them I just fancied going somewhere a little different this time.
I did some research online and decided that the Tivoli markets sounded the most christmassy so that's why we decided on going to Copenhagen.
Tivoli is an amusement park that is located in the centre of Copenhagen and is one of the oldest theme parks in the world and is nothing like the big theme parks and inste

[jl132, 16/12/2010] Absalon Hotel is a hotel in Copenhagen. Under one roof you will find two different hotels, the Annex Hotel and the Absalon. We have stayed at the Absalon Hotel during our trip to Copenhagen for four nights.
Location
Absalon Hotel is located a few minutes walk from Central station. It lies at the beginning of the red light district and across from the hotel you have an erotic store. Although it lays in the Red Light district , you are hardly affected by the prostitutes and you do not see them during the day anyway. Near the street is a 7 Eleven store, which is very convenient. There are also

[alex_r, 02/08/2010] Stayed here on an extended weekend trip the overall impression of the hotel is very good and it is beautifully desigened. The bar at the hotel has a nice atmosphere and a nice selection of interesting drinks that are worth exploring.
[fishbob, 01/06/2010] I was in Copenhagen for a business trip, and my company gave me the choice of where to stay.
I chose the Clarion because it was central and not far from the meeting site. While I didn't spend much time in the hotel, my experience with them was good. They were friendly, gave me helpful information on the transportation system, and the room service was good.
I'd stay there again.
[Elise123, 26/09/2009] This hotel is located just a few minutes away from Nyhavn, Kongens Nytorv and Strøget. It's in a quiet street and the rooms are nice but bathrooms are small. Very good danish breakfast.
[justinenov05, 13/07/2008] Fantastic place. Went with 2 children and it was great and had washing machine in 1 bed apartments which was perfect with 2 children. Apartment was excellent, breakfast was excellent, am normally not a fan of modern places but loved this place. Slightly out of the centre but great if you've got kids to be in an apartment. The cleaning lady even came twice a day and did all our washing up. Kids loved the stereo.
[peacock, 05/10/2007] Well, we only stayed 1 night but I felt disappointed for what looked like a nice hotel in the brochure. Felt short changed by the size of room and non view.
[bluejules, 25/08/2006] I have always loved Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, so with Copenhagen once being his home, I was absolutely delighted to be going.
The Little Mermaid was one of the first attractions we visited because we really wanted to see it and we were only there for four days.
We didn't realise when we first set off but The Little Mermaid was quite a long distance from our hotel. It must have taken a good 45 minutes to walk there. (Granted, we probably weren't walking very fast, but all the same!).
We walked along the edge of the river most of the way there expecting to see it every
