Designed by the famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen; from the exterior facade right through to the swan and egg chairs that grace the lobby, the Royal Hotel is without doubt an important icon of modern design and arguable the world's first designer hotel. As well as the design aspect, the hotel houses a business centre with an airline check-in desk, a health club and gymnasium.
