We are told that the Hotel, d'Angleterre "is the premier hotel choice in Denmark" but the author adds that it is "a bit staid and stodgy". Nevertheless this is still "the best address in Copenhagen". This hotel is "a Leading Hotels of the World member" and dates from 1755. It is a "seven-story property" that is located at "the top of Nyhavn". It is said that the guests that have stayed here include "almost every celebrity who has ever visited Denmark". It is described as being a "medley of styles: Empire, Louis XVI, and modern".
