We stayed at this hotel as we read several great reviews and we were not disappointed.
The location is very convenient, it took us just 5 minutes to get there from the main station.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are rather on the small side, but for us that was no problem, as cleanliness and a quiet neighbourhood is more important than room size!
Breakfast was great and featured many things you usually don`t find in 3 star hotels.
For example each morning had a special Featured country and served typical products from there like salmon for Scandinavia or scrambled eggs, orange jam and cheddar for England.
There were also many homemade products like bread, jam and even yoghurt with fresh fruit!
Very often you just get prepacked stuff and a minimal choice in this price segment!
Staff also recommended nice places to go nearby- for example a typical Cologne brewery with great food and beer- ask for "Koelsche Boor" we can definitely recommend it!
If you need a big luxurious room with hight tech frills you should rather choose one of the typical 4 or 5 star places you find everywhere. But if you prefer a small, clean and quiet place with a great atmosphere and a personal touch you will definitely enjoy this place!
We would definitely stay there again!
