[azbkman, 14/08/2010] Since this was my first trip to Cologne, I chose a small hotel because I've fount in the past that staff at smaller hotels are generally more helpful with everything one needs to know when visiting a city for the first time, and the staff at Hotel Domstern did not disappoint. The location of the hotel is convenient to the train station and downtown in one direction, but in the other direction are neighborhoods with a more local feel where we tried some of the (non-tourist trap) restaurants reccomended by the hotel staff. Perfect place to stay in the city center

[topibrasil, 20/10/2009] We stayed at this hotel as we read several great reviews and we were not disappointed. The location is very convenient, it took us just 5 minutes to get there from the main station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are rather on the small side, but for us that was no problem, as cleanliness and a quiet neighbourhood is more important than room size! Breakfast was great and featured many things you usually don`t find in 3 star hotels.
