Surrounded by gardens with a large swimming pool they are just a short walk away from the charming medieval village of Colle Val D’Elsa. Converted from an 18th century monastery, the ten one bedroomed apartments with interesting architectural details enjoy a special atmosphere and are fitted and furnished to a high standard. Located between Florence and Siena and close to San Gimignano and Volterra this is an ideal location for visiting all the major sights of Tuscany.
Pets are welcome.
The Tana de’Lepri Villa has been converted into holiday apartments from an 18th century monastery. Carefully restored with respect for its unique architectural heritage, it has been divided into ten apartments which can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 persons. They are all fitted and furnished to a high standard with fly screens, satellite television and each has a private garden area or terrace.
The Villa and its gardens are surrounded by countryside. It is a 12 minutes' walk from the medieval village of Colle Val d’Elsa which has shops and restaurants.
It is an ideal location for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Its strategic position allows to you to quickly reach: Florence 45km, Siena 20km, Volterra 28 Km and the Towers of San Gimignano are clearly visible from the nearby fields.
Tana de’Lepri has a large swimming pool (7m x 14m) with bathroom and changing room. The Villa is surrounded by gardens and there is private parking.
Approach from the North / Florence.
Exit the A1 motorway at Firenze Certosa and take the first right at the roundabout which leads to the Florence to Siena dual carriageway. Leave this at the Colle val d'Elsa Nord. At the junction take the left turn towards Colle, now follow the road along for about 2 Km until you have reached the town and take a right turn signposted to Volterra San Gimignano. Follow this road uphill past the ancient town on your left for about another two km until you go past an Agip petrol station, 50 metres further take a right turn signposted Residence Tana de' Lepri. Well done you, you have made it.
Approach from the South / Siena.
Take the Siena to Florence dual carriageway and exit at Colle Val d'Elsa (the exit after Monteriggioni). Turn left on exiting the dual carriageway, when you reach the next T junction right keeping on this road that takes you down hill through the new part of the town until you reach a main road, at this junction turn left towards Colle. Now follow the road along for about 2 Km until you have reached the town and take a right turn signposted to Volterra San Gimignano. Follow this road uphill past the ancient town on your left for about another two km until you go past an Agip petrol station, 50 metres further take a right turn signposted Residence Tana de' Lepri. Well done you, you have made it.
