[more]The Woolpack Inn is located in a 14th century grade I listed building. It was once home to vicar Thomas Lowrey who was ejected from the Church of England during the time of the restoration. From 1672 on the building was licensed for worship and served as a Non-Conformist chapel, it was turned into an inn in 1708.
Although the restaurant has been restored it still offers a wealth of its original features like fireplaces, exposed beams and low ceilings.The Woolpack Inn offers a bar, restaurant and beer garden. Traditional English meals and pub snacks are being served.
Food is available from noon to 2.30 pm and 6pm to 9pm.
The restaurant offers free parking for patrons.
