My wife and I, plus visiting cousin and wife from the Old Dart, needed a stopover on the way from Brisbane to Sydney, not too far from Coffs. We had previously read the rave reviews, and after staying, we feel they were fully justified. We stayed in the Lodge, occupying two of the three bedrooms. The place was spotless, with quality beds, covers, linen, towels etc. The living area was huge and comfortable, with a large TV, plus smaller LCD TVs in each room. Austar/Foxtel was on the big TV, and an up-to-date TV program was provided. The fridge had a bowl of fruit inside upon arrival. Before going out for our evening meal, we asked genial host Ron for suggestions, and wound up staying in. Ron, in full chef's attire, served us a magnificent meal, accompanied by choice wines and cold beer, all at a very competitive cost. Breakfast the following morning, cooked to order and served with quality fruit, was also excellent. From every window, the delightful gardens fill the view.
