The typical Minorcan style house was refurbished in the year 2010 by the designer Chiara Fabiani, who was inspired by Italo Calvino’s novel “le citta invisibili”, an absolute manifesto of good taste.
The lounge is on the ground floor with a sofa, T.V., D.V.D. and a sheltered patio where you can drop your bikes after a enjoying a comfortable ride through the city or the various cycling alternatives that Minorca has to offer (the hotel is an associate of Mamuth).
The hotel is located in the very heart of the old city centre of Ciutadella, at a mere hundred meters from the port and fifty meters from the breathtaking gothic style Minorca Cathedral. This location offers the visitor a wide range of alternatives such as a stroll amongst the shops and terraces, or admiring the unique fiestas of Sant Joan on the front line. Opening the whole year around allows its guests to experience the nitty-gritty of the island by rambling along the camí de cavallas (bridle ways) or encountering the prehistoric remains around the island.
