The elegant „B&B DIVAN“ is located in the heart of Old Town Sarajevo (down town) between the most important cultural sights: The Roman Catholic Cathedral (build by the Austrian-Hungarians), Sebilj (water fountain), Gazi Husrev-bey's mosque and the Old Orthodox churchDivan has restricted capacity, but the rooms provide high comfort, which are equipped by European standards, where every window is like a post card of Old Town Sarajevo. The building is new and was opened 1. 8. 2008., and it represents the III generation of a family tradition in the hotel industry, which is dated back to 1962.The exterior of the building has an interesting architecture in the traditional style, which goes along very well with the ambient of Bascarsija. In a radius of 100 meters you can find everything you need, including a tramway and bus station, post office, cafes, shops, night clubs, and delicious Bosnian food in numerous restaurants.„B&B DIVAN“ is providing single bed rooms and double bed rooms, which all can be upgraded with up to two extra beds. The whole building is alarm protected and the hall ways have video surveillance. The building has a cafe bar with a summer garden, which will be opened in summer 2009.Due to the restricted capacity of the hotel, reservations have to be confirmed at least two days upon arrival. B&B Divan is located in the heart of the Historic-cultural center of Old Town Sarajevo, just 20 meters from Bascarsija square. Bascarsija was built in the 18th century, by the Ottoman emperors. The Hotel, which has just been completed, combines a comforting atmosphere, which is discreet and typically Bosnian, with all the comforts of a large modern Hotel. A cafe bar, a summer garden and a smart breakfast lounge are just some of the things you can enjoy while staying here.
