Compiled for you: The facts!Details Dover's Hill

Description: Dover's Hill lies a short distance outside the Cotswold town of Chipping Campden and offers extensive views over the Vale of Evesham. The hill is a National Trust site and thus, protected for future generations.

The hill is also the home to the annual Cotswold Olimpick Games which were inaugurated by Robert Dover in 1612 and now take place on a Friday evening at the end of May and include such events as shin-kicking and Tug-of-war competitions.

A car park is available at the top of the hill and dog walkers should keep their animals on leashes as there are normally sheep grazing in the fields.

Open year round and with no entrance charges. There are however, no facilities on the site and wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility are likely to struggle with the gates and unpaved pathways.
