[FLYGVA, 06.08.2006] The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is awarded 93.53 points on the 2006 Gold List of the UK Edition of Conde Nast Traveller. The unknown author describes the hotel in his short report as a "sublime arrangement of thatched pavilions in landscaped grounds". The 64 villas offer "views over rice terraces" and to the mountains.
All villas have "polished teak floors" and furniture "covered in Thai textiles". In addition to the villas there are 16 residences with "private housekeeping".

The resort has two restaurants and two bars.

The pool is described as "well-positioned" and the adjacent "heavenly" spa is like "a luxurious hotel in itself".

Childcare if offered and is described as "amazing" by the author.

There is a lot to do in this resort as a cookery school, a gym and tennis courts are within the hotel and Golf and Elephant trekking is "nearby".
