This open-air museum which dates from 1992 is dedicated to local folklore and includes traditional, hand-built buildings as well as a windmill and chapel. Free guided tours in English, German and Dutch are presented on the hour and visitors are encouraged to touch and explore the exhibits which range from local fruit and produce to crafts and farming implements. A museum-shop, cafe and library are available and there is both an auditorium and open-air theatre. Opening hours are from 09h00 to 14h00 daily except Mondays and the entrance fee for adults is 5 €. |
