La Spiga is a small Country House Hotel, built in 2005 by the Italian owner and his English wife, situated in the Langhe area south of Turin in its own peaceful and private gardens in a sunny position over looking hills and fields.
La Spiga is an ideal place for walking, cycling, golfing, and for visiting the many vineyards and cellars nearby to sample some of the best wines in Italy(Barolo ,Barbaresco,Barbera,nebbiolo being the most famous).
If you like great shopping in a fantastic city with many period bars and beautiful squares , Turin is only 45 minute drive, or if you prefer , a trip to the Mediterranean Sea is only one hour away.
La Spiga has a Reading Room, many terraces and patios, swimming pool, private gardens and parking, air conditioning throughout the hotel and its own A la Carte Restaurant serving between October to January the famous White Alba Truffles.
