[ProfMagellan, 19/09/2011] This is a comfortable city centre hotel. It is perfectly functional but could do with a little updating. The room was ok: good storage space, reasonable lighting, satisfactory bed
but it just seemed stuck in a 1970s / 1980s time warp and now needs a good refresh.
We were very disappointed with the hotel's cafe where the service was terrible, the table uncomfortable and the food uninspiring. On the plus side, good porterage, a pleasant receptionist and a nice bar and in easy walking distance of Chalons' major sites. A good secure parking. The hotel was fairly priced for what it was.
