We had a fully packed itinery and in the 10 days we were there, I would like to think that we saw most of the main sights to beautiful island has to offer. A highlight of my holiday was a visit to the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnewela Elephant Orphanage Pinnawela is situated near the town of Kegella, halfway between the capitol of Columbo and the town of Kandy.
