[guernseychannel, 06/01/2008] Stayed here 18 / 12 / 07 to 01 / 01 / 08. This hotel no way merits it's 5 star status. The overall demeanour is tired and in need of upgrading. They say they pride themselves on the quality of service in the food and beverages department but this was frankly deplorable. Waiting times were extreme to say the least and orders, if they arrived at all, were often incomplete and of poor quality. On making a complaint about the service at reception I was told that all managers were too busy to see me.
