[more]The Emporium hotel is situated in the county town of Castelló d'Empúries, in the Alt Empordà, its surroundings are made up of patrimonial, natural and historical resources of great importance. In the same town there's a great legacy of medieval origin, the residencial marine of Empuriabrava and wildlife park of the Aiguamolls of the Empordà. Because of its situation it's a centre point from where you can escape to get to know the Alt Empordà better.
The hotel owned and managed by the family Jordà-Vidal-Giró, is a family hotel with a personal service which was founded in 1965 by Salvador Vidal i Ayter, it has at your disposition 40 spacious rooms, standard, superior and a suite which are fully equipped. We also offer cafeteria service, lounge and a restaurant with contemporary Empordà cooking where the product, technique and tradition of the Alt Empordà are joined together to create a new proposal of restaurant. In this way, the Restaurant wants to get back the high quality cooking of the hotel through a new kind of cooking , an extensive cellar and a warm space.
All the rooms have a Wifi service, TV, phone, desk and a complete bathroom.
The menu, served on table, is based on the native season product, the technique and the tradition of the Alt Empordà.
Highway AP-7 direction Girona, exit 4 FIGUERES, continue by the road C-260 direction Roses and after 11km you will arrive to Castelló d'Empúries.
In the double standard room with shower it's not possible to put any extra bed. Double room single use on request. There are no baby cots.
