[jweymouth01, 17/03/2010] We have just returned from a winter break at the Wayside Cheer Hotel and had a wonderful time, we only live in Weymouth so its easy to get to the Island and now we have a nice place to stay we will be back in the summer.
Food is excellent and the New Steakhouse is well worth trying, they also have a Bar Menu that has so much on it you bound to find something you like.
The rooms are confortable especially the beds and the furniture is all new,
The Tudor Bar has ebtertainment at the weekends and is well liked by the locals who make you feel welcome,
The staff cant do enough for you

[Steve777, 24/02/2010] We have been staying at the Wayside Cheer hotel for a few years now and its always been a place we look forward to returning to,
The management and staff cant do enough to make your stay a pleasant one and you can be sure of having a comfortable nights sleep as the beds are really good quality, all bedroom furniture is new in the past year or so and the hotel is being upgraded more every time we visit, its good to see this lovely hotel is being invested in for the future.
The food is excellent we always go B & B as the Bar and Grill menus have a wide choice and the chefs produce some wonderf
