We have been staying at the Wayside Cheer hotel for a few years now and its always been a place we look forward to returning to,
The management and staff cant do enough to make your stay a pleasant one and you can be sure of having a comfortable nights sleep as the beds are really good quality, all bedroom furniture is new in the past year or so and the hotel is being upgraded more every time we visit, its good to see this lovely hotel is being invested in for the future.
The food is excellent we always go B & B as the Bar and Grill menus have a wide choice and the chefs produce some wonderful special meals changing every few days so that suites us best.
In the Summer the pool is great and the beach just across the road is wonderful to just walk along.
We had a hire car but other guests tel us the bus service to excellent and cheap to use
If you are looking for 5 star pampering maybe the waysides not the place cut for comfortable friendly atmosphere and superb food and weekend entertainment we think its perfect.
